Position Overview:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to chef specifications and club standards while maintaining efficiency and consistency during service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes.
- Set up and stock assigned stations.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with prep work, cleaning, and closing procedures.
- Perform effectively during high-volume service.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of line cook or kitchen experience preferred; country club or banquet experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
Schedule:
- Full-time position.
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
